While the average rental price for a downtown Chicago one bedroom apartment is around $1900 a month, there are some individuals who are willing to plunk down a whole lot of cash to score a rental in the best buildings in Chicago.

If you have $46,000 to burn each month, then the most expensive downtown Chicago apartments on the market can be yours.

We ran a search on the Multiple Listing Service and found the three priciest listings available to downtown Chicago renters.

369 GRAND – PH1 & PH2

List Price: $40,000 a month

What It Gets You: An oversized four-bedroom residence with 4,400+ square feet of interior space and 2,000+ square feet of outdoor space. This luxury penthouse residence also features an elevator, wide-plank flooring, recessed lighting, and European-inspired kitchens with fully integrated appliances and an undercounter wine fridge. These uber expensive residences may be tailor-made for the rich and famous, but there are plenty of downtown Chicago apartments available that won’t cost you a year’s salary each month.
