About Nick DeCesare

Nick serves Luxury Living as Operations Coordinator. He provides Helpdesk, IT, and Systems support to all internal stakeholders, and also builds, maintains, and troubleshoots automated business processes that increase the efficiency of internal business operations, from CRM workflows to cross-platform integrations involving several disparate systems. He additionally provides data quality assurance to leasing strategy and management for market data that is collected and analyzed internally to support accurate, real-time market information that serves both the Brokerage and Exclusive projects. He works closely alongside the Marketing and Leasing departments to ensure swift project launches and to maintain efficient operations of those projects once launched.

Nick graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA in 2015 with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. He spent a few years during and shortly after his undergraduate studies playing professionally in the Pittsburgh jazz community before moving to Chicago in 2016. In 2017, he performed in Hangzhou, China on a three month residency in a jazz club called Club JZ in a quartet with world-class drummer and great friend, George Heid III and other world class musicians. In 2018, he became an instructor of the Bikram Yoga/Original Hot Yoga method and maintains a close relationship with his yoga practice. He is a passionate travel adventurer with one of his most recent and memorable trips being a 12-day solo backpack through Southeast Asia covering five countries. He developed his passion for IT through Bitcoin and wanting to understand its underlying technical infrastructure and is a passionate advocate for Bitcoin’s role in the present and future of finance. When not working, you can find him kibitzing at a local chess club, taking or teaching a hot yoga class, enjoying a good cigar and a round of golf, and perpetually searching for the next best dim sum spot.

First Chicago Apartment

My first Chicago apartment was a 3-flat in Edgewater right off the Thorndale red line stop which I shared with my brother and our good friend.

Favorite Thing About Chicago
