Bars in Streeterville
Billy Goat Tavern has a true place in Chicago’s history opening their doors in 1934. This classic pub is widely known for its curse with the Chicago Cubs. In 1945, “Billy Goat” (the owner’s nickname) was turned away from entering Wrigley Field for a Cubs game. He lashed out and said the Cubs wouldn’t win any more games. This is known as the start of the 75-year curse on the Chicago Cubs. Thankfully the curse was broken in 2016 when the Cubs won the World Series. Step into a piece of Chicago’s history and celebrate the curse being broken! Another Chicago favorite for over 25 years is Timothy O’Toole’s Pub. This is truly a sports fan haven with over 48 beers on tap and 50+ large screen TVs. Timothy O’Toole’s is sure to please a large variety of tastes. Copper Fox Gastropub is a gastropub inspired by local breweries. All beer on tap is brewed within a 15-mile radius of the restaurant. Locals can grab a table and sip on the local suds. If you are looking for more of a dive bar vibe, check out Streeter’s Tavern. With games like foosball, beer pong, and Jenga, you are sure to enjoy your time and maybe make a new friend.
