We know COVID-19 is affecting everyone right now, so we wanted to share some things that you can do with your time at home. It’s nice to take your mind off the news for a little bit, and focus on yourself.
Re-decorate Your Apartment
Having a space that feels like you makes you feel more creative and inspired throughout the day. Start a moodboard on Pinterest and browse your favorite (local!) online shops or repurpose items from around your apartment. See what throw pillows, a wallpapered focal wall, shag rug, decorated shelves, or hanging plants will do to uplift your space.
Organize Your Space
Take a few hours every day for one week and hit one room at a time. Make sure to get the bedroom closet, bathroom sink storage, above-the-stove kitchen cabinets, and living room tv console. If you need inspiration, Marie Kondo has some great organization hacks so if you haven’t watched that Netflix series yet, we highly suggest.
Try an At Home Workout
There are lots of free options available right now so make sure to take advantage. Peloton, Soulcycle, and Corepower are offering free classes. Instagram fitness influencers post follow-along at-home workouts with minimal equipment. There are also tons of bodyweight circuit workouts to try online so you can even workout to your own music.
Pick Up a New Hobby
Try drawing, taking photos, or crafting something for your apartment to bring out your inner creativity. If you’re looking for some mental clarity, work on an intricate puzzle or read a good book. And if you haven’t done so already, you could also start experimenting in the kitchen with different recipes! Pull out your cookbooks and create some of those dishes and desserts you’ve always wanted to try.
