This year’s Shred and Recycling Day in Logan Square takes place August 24th from 9 am to 12 pm.
The event is held at Liberty Bank for Savings at 2392 North Milwaukee Avenue and is completely free to the public.
Bring by any paper you would like to securely dispose of, including old documents, canceled checks, and files, as long as you don’t exceed 25 lbs of paper. All paper is then shredded on-site.
Feel free to also bring as many small electronics as you would like to safely recycle. These include old computer equipment, cell phones, MP3 players, stereo equipment, DVD players, and digital cameras.
