About Diedra Norman
Born and raised in Indianapolis, I grew up learning the importance of honesty, kindness, and treating people well—values that continue to guide both my life and my work. I studied psychology at Indiana University, where I met my husband, before moving to Los Angeles to get married and eventually settling in Chicago 15 years ago.
Much of my career has been spent as a people manager, which allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for relationships, communication, and understanding what truly motivates people. Three years ago, I transitioned into real estate and quickly realized I had found my niche. I love the personal connections the work allows and the opportunity to guide people through one of the most meaningful decisions of their lives.
Today, I live in Lincoln Park with my husband and our English bulldog, Piggie Smalls. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with family and friends, exploring fashion and travel, leaning into creative projects (including my Etsy shop), and seeking out anything that makes me laugh.

I had never lived in Chicago before and was about a month into looking for an apartment when I came across Sam. He was so responsive, straight-forward and knowledgeable that I agreed to see a few places with him and within a week had found the perfect place. He was the most well organized, punctual and reliable people I’ve worked with and he was on top of the process to and through my lease signing. Will absolutely look to work with him if/when I’m ever in the market for real estate again.
I feel so fortunate I connected with Angel. From day 1, she was kind, knowledgeable and professional. She helped me put a list of properties in River North and scheduled all the showings. I’m moving to Chicago from another state so I had to fly for the weekend to see the apartments. Angel made the whole experience so easy: she picked me up at my hotel (which she kindly recommended), took me to all the showings which only took a few hours and by the end of the day I picked my place, applied and got approved within 48 hours. Ashleigh at Luxury Living Chicago was amazing to work with! I have never used a broker before to find an apartment and was always a little skeptical. I will say from now on I will never not use someone. She listened to all of my concerns and made sure that I asked all of the right questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I am so thrilled that she helped me find the most amazing apartment. I am so happy in my new spot and I credit that happiness to her! She made the process incredibly easy and she was always so on top of new deals that were happening in the area. Looking for an apartment? Madeline Sears is your girl. From day one, Madeline’s poise and professionalism placated all of my fears about moving out of state. She provided well-researched leads and walked me through the nuances of each property and neighborhood I was looking it. When I met Madeline to see apartments in person, she kept a detailed diary of each one (the size, rent, pet deposits, etc.), so that I could focus on evaluating the space. She’s followed up to congratulate me and inform me that my lease went through, as well as make sure I’m taken care of. Truly a great experience. I’ve already recommended her to a coworker who is looking to move to Chicago. Highly recommend!
I spoke with Tristen at Luxury Living Chicago and he was able to be very communicative and helpful with my search for an apartment in Chicago. Coming from out of state, it can be overwhelming without the assistance of someone to lend a hand — but Tristen was able to work with my schedule, set appointments and provide me with a list of apartments to review prior to setting a date for touring. On the date of touring, he was very responsive with the last minute schedule change I had to make, and able to provide such great insights according to what I needed for an apartment. He made the whole apartment hunt an easy process, and I greatly appreciate it! I’ve always done my apartment search on my own so this was a new experience for me. If you’re in a similar situation, then this review is for you! I was first contacted by Tristen, who took notes of what I was looking for and put together a list of options for me to look at shortly after. Tristen was very attentive, patient and helpful. It was awesome to work with him. On Thursday, I flew in for a day trip to go see the my top apartment choices that Tristen lined up. We started with a wildcard he added to our tour day and it was a gorgeous building. By the afternoon, I found the home that I’ll be living at for the next two years. It was an amazing experience and I’m very grateful for Tristen’s dedication to help me find a new home.
