Tristen and his wife, Kaitlin (Luxury Living’s former Director of Marketing) welcomed their son, Casper last year, and are embracing all things around parenthood in an urban setting. With any downtime, Tristen loves running along the Chicago waterfront and enjoying a tasty craft beer.

I can’t speak highly enough about the experience my partner and I had with Tristen and Luxury Living! Tristen did such a fantastic job of carefully listening to our needs, curating the perfect series of apartments for us to tour in Chicago, and graciously handling a few curveballs we threw at him along the way. On our day of apartment tours, I loved how Tristen was FULL of helpful (or otherwise interesting) facts about each building and took the lead on jotting down unit infoand pricing at each building so my partner and could focus our attention on exploring the units themselves. Tristen also did an A+ job at firmly sticking to our budget and gently guiding us towards our ultimate decision in a way that felt natural/helpful, opposed to pushy. It honestly felt like we were touring apartments with a trusted friend opposed to a broker, and Tristen’s close relationships with each and every building we visited bolstered my trust even further and made the overall experience feel 10x more personable. All of the above lead to us finding the apartment of our dreams, and while we were excited to sign a 2-year lease, I fully intend on calling upon his services as soon as we decide to change scenery again!

I’ve always done my apartment search on my own so this was a new experience for me. If you’re in a similar situation, then this review is for you! I was first contacted by Tristen, who took notes of what I was looking for and put together a list of options for me to look at shortly after. Tristen was very attentive, patient and helpful. It was awesome to work with him. On Thursday, I flew in for a day trip to go see the my top apartment choices that Tristen lined up. We started with a wildcard he added to our tour day and it was a gorgeous building. By the afternoon, I found the home that I’ll be living at for the next two years. It was an amazing experience and I’m very grateful for Tristen’s dedication to help me find a new home.
