River North Apartments Update: RNRA 2014 Annual Meeting
The River North Residents Association’s 2014 annual meeting and election was held on December 2nd, 2014. Since Luxury Living Chicago Realty’s office is located in the heart of River North at 350 W Hubbard, and a good majority of our clients live in River North apartments, our team attended the meeting to get a pulse on what’s happening in this vibrant Chicago neighborhood.
The event was held at Shay Chicago 222 W Ontario, a swanky River North night club and sponsored by Jones Chicago 220 W Illinois, the newest luxury River North apartments.

At the event, 42nd Ward Alderman Brendan Reilly, spoke about the importance of voting in the February 2015 elections. While Reilly is running unopposed, the next ward over currently has no alderman. Whoever is chosen for alderman in that ward would work closely with Reilly.
18th District Police Commander William Dunn also spoke at the event. He gave an update on how the Chicago police are working deliginetly to curtail crime in the area. He also discussed how the police and the RNRA work together to ensure that businesses near River North apartments and condos operate professionally and within community standards.
It was a very informative meeting. The dedication of the RNRA, and its members, solidifies why the River North neighborhood is one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago.
