I work in the film/TV business and unfortunately need to relocate a lot for work with little to no warning. I was in the process of driving home to Louisiana from a gig in California, all while trying to find a new place in Chicago for my next job - with less than a weeks notice. I had reached out to a few brokers via email over units I really liked, however all I would receive back was computerized email responses. Driving across country, I didn't have time to respond or really pay attention to my email. Then it all changed! Jill called me personally the next morning after I reached out to her via email in the late evening hours over a loft I was interested in. She was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely excited to help me relocate to Chicago, regardless of all the obstacles I was throwing at her. I was stressed over finding something I liked that was safe, in a good neighborhood, and had everything I was looking for in such little time, all over the phone and email only. I was not able to go look at any of the units in person due to the time constrictions I was on, and having to move from out of state. To add to all of it, I have a service animal (a pitbull, which if you have one, you know it's tough to find housing). She was not phased at all, and delivered in a huge way. I had a few obstacles she had to work through, however no matter what was thrown at her, she took it and ran with it unfazed. She told me many times throughout the process to not worry, and that she was confident we'd find the perfect place in the time frame I had. And she was correct. Cut to - I am enjoying my second week in my new home. To be honest, other than my place in West Hollywood, this is my favorite apartment I have ever lived in. This apartment building literally has EVERYTHING I was looking for, and I feel very safe here. Jill was knowledgeable of Chicago in general and it's neighborhoods, had great relationships with agents in the buildings I was looking at, friendly, upbeat, and fun to work with. You can tell she absolutely loves her job, and it shines through with her work ethic and attitude. Thank you for turning a stressful situation, into a fun one. I'd like to leave my highest recommendation for Sean Holland of LLCR. I'd never used a company like this before in an apartment search, but after working with LLC I'd never go back to apartment hunting alone. To begin, Sean provided excellent service from day one. He connected with me via email right away to inquire about my preferences and returned his suggestions for our tour within hours. The options he provided matched perfectly with what I was looking for and I found my new apartment during our tour of three different properties. He listened to my likes/dislikes and provided honest feedback based on his vast experience in this business. Chicago offers a lot of choices, particularly in the market of new high-rises that seem to be popping up everywhere, but Sean was well-versed in the pros and cons of these locations. I had no idea apartment hunting could be so stress-free and fun! From the moment I submitted my form online, I knew we were in good hands. Tristen got in touch with me immediately and took the time to understand our budget, and what location and features we were looking for. He lined up a stellar slate of showings, each of which was better than the last and all of which met our needs. It was so nice that Tristen picked us up from the train station and took us to each of the locations.
